Universe would like to announce the postponement of Johannes Heil’s eagerly anticipated 2007 Australian tour. Due to endless delays in his production schedule Johannes has been forced to cancel numerous commitments in order to complete his forthcoming album. To his disappointed fans in Australia Johannes sends his deepest apologies and a promise to return to our shores within the year.

However, Universe is more than pleased to announce the addition of not one, but two exciting additions to the Universe @ Kryal Castle lineup. Serving as more than able replacements for Heil, first up is Jamie Bissmire- perhaps better known as one half of slamming techno super duo The Space DJz who over the years have become firm Melbourne favourites.

Secondly, Hardware have served up some fresh talent in the shape of one of Cocoon and Gigolo’s favourite live acts Richard Bartz!

With little less that one month to go, tickets for this new summer festival are flying out the door. Don’t miss out!

With a sound that seamlessly combines the darkness & power of acid, the symphony of trance and divine rhythm of techno, A*S*Y*S is without question one of Pharmacy’s perennial favourites and a global ambassador for 303 fuelled hardstyle terror! Frank Ellrich is the tormented genius behind such twisted dance floor anthems as Acid Nightmare and the classic reworking of The Prodigy’s Voodoo People- No More Fucking Rock&Roll! A*S*Y*S has also tightened his grip on global hardstyle domination with his recent project Future Tribes which has seen him perform in front of 40,000 screaming punters at Amsterdam arena’s Q-DANCE as well as producing our very own the Theme From Pharmacy together with Derb. One, two, A*S*Y*S is coming for you!

Bryan Zentz is no stranger to techno. His signature melodic techno monsters have swept the world over and landed him regular appearances on Carl Cox’s “Intec” imprint. With well over 50 records on labels from Primate to Jericho to Intec, Bryan Zentz performs the world over, spreading his infectious grooves, and more tech-house styles. The only way to describe his music is that it sits somewhere between old school trancey techno and acid house.
Awesome stuff...

The Acid Scout returns to right where he began. Picking up his very first unsigned Kurbel releases (remember Style Wars, Ghettoblaster, and Saug 27?), he takes us onto a journey into deep space and instantly delivers the suitable soundtracks. Exploring sound molecules in a grooving asteroid field, discovering sexy robotic lifeforms on strange yet sexy new worlds, he leads us into a sparkling bright future. It's science fiction for a sci-fi generation, it's dense, it's funky, it's a soulful beat spaceship. His live sets are legendary, and when he played at the not less legendary Cocoon Club at Amnesia / Ibiza, there was no doubt that this 'Clash of Legends' would be recorded and released on the Live Album 'Live at Cocoon Club'. On this record, Richard shows his skills as a Live Act and the enthusiastic reactions of the audience are the proof that they are extraordinary.

.
Pascal Feliz- our man from Amsterdam! Perhaps best known as one half of the infamous ‘Walt & Feliz’ project, this silent achiever has released some of the biggest hard trance classics of our time including ‘Expansion’ & ‘Endless’. Alongside the likes of Marcel Woods and Walt, this unsung master of the hard trance and tech trance fusion sound is part of an elite group of DJs and producers that are currently setting the pace globally!

Tara Reynolds is one of only a handful of international female hard house DJs. Her ability to combine filthy turbo-charged basslines with uplifting hi-energy melodies have earmarked her as one of the few DJs who’s been able to break out of the tough London scene to command headline sets across the UK and abroad. With classic shifts at Creamfields to Tidy Weekenders, she has travelled the world over and is back in Australia for good!

There are few Djz and producers in the modern techno world who can truly claim to have pioneered a style and sound, and call it their own. Such statements are often declared, but rarely justified. In the case of Ben Long and Jamie Bissmire, the names behind the revered Space DJz this claim would be unarguable. Ever since the pair’s formation in the early 1900’s their unerring ability to fuse raucous techno with their life long love of Hip Hop , has set them aside from there peers. In the present day , an abundance of UK techno producer’s have emerged, none would deny The Space Djz are true innovators. During this time, and indeed long before, The Space Djz have been renowned the world over for their breathtaking skillz behind the deckz. Whether working as a team or individually , Ben and Jamie consistently deliver astounding performances Djing to them is an art, and with over ten years on the world Dj circuit they have the knowledge and experience to rock any party right...

He has played alongside all the big guns including Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold and the like with explosive LIVE performances at gigs like Love Parade, Gatecrasher, Mayday, Creamfields, Dance Valley you name it! UNIVERSE SURVIVAL GUIDE

We have experienced a flood of calls this week, so we thought it wise to clarify a few issues for the Pharmacy and Hardware massive!

The weather for the event is looking to be another stunning warm summers night in Ballarat- please however be prepared as the weather can change very quickly- be prepared for the warm and for the cold!

* Official Universe, Pharmacy and Hardware merchandise is available on the night, so pop over to the stand at the back of the main dance floor a gear up! :)

* While there will be a police presence in the car park this year, these police are here at our request. They are simply present to keep the peace and are 100% there for your safety. If you are not loitering or stealing cars then you should have nothing to worry about. These police and extra security have become necessary over recent years thanks to a very small unsavoury crew who come to hang in the carpark and cause trouble. This is why we have been forced to charge for carparking!

* We have a bus service that runs from Ballarat Station to the castle for those who are catching the VLine train to the event. For more information or to purchase tickets check out www.hardwarecorp.com.au

* We are happy to announce that we have refined the passout system! Every person is entitled to two pass outs throughout the course of the event. Pass out times will be between 9pm and 5am.

*As always- party safely, keep an on your mates and most of all have the time of your life! Booya!
